Danni's Doorstep: Friday

This Thanksgiving I had the pleasure and joy (Note: Sarcasm) of watching the new song called "It's Thanksgiving" complete with unsupervised children cooking and random adult dressed as a turkey and a girl singing into a turkey leg and thinking she can rap.

Needless to say I was horrified.

I then came to learn that the song was created by the same man responsible for Rebecca Black's "Friday." everything makes sense now. I never thought there would be a day where there would be a song worse than "Friday." But alas!

For you Friday enjoyment:

Surf and Turf: The Internet...What Can't It Do? - YouTube Chains

-->
So one of my favorite things to do as of late is to watch videos on YouTube. I have a tendency to click related videos after I'm done watching the first one and pretty soon I end up watching videos that have nothing to do with why I went on there in the first place. I go from kittens playing with a ball of yarn (adorable) to sharks giving birth (disgusting) to video of the titanic (creepy).

A recent chain started with a link from my Facebook page to a video of a little girl finding out that her parents were taking her to Disney World (See Video Below). It was an adorable video and the girl’s reaction is priceless. This led to me watching more videos of parents surprising their kids, which then turned into videos on women telling their husbands that they’re pregnant, which then led to couples telling their families that they’re pregnant.

So I am on probably my 16th video and I'm like "that’s weird, that guy looks like my brother's friend Joe!" As the camera panned passed the guests at the table I was even more convinced that it was my brother’s friend. So I remembered that my brother was tagged in some photos recently published on FB of Joe’s wedding. So I looked at a picture of the entire wedding party and I was like "that definitely looks like the guy in the video and his new wife looks like woman sitting net to him!" At that point, I wasn’t entirely sure, because it was late and my eyes could have been playing tricks on me. So as I took a closer look at the photo of the wedding party, I notice that one of the bridesmaids looks familiar and I then realize that she is the woman who was announcing that she was pregnant in the video.

Crazy right? I go from parents surprising their kids to finding my brother friend in a completely random YouTube video. Has anything like this happened to you?
